I work on a number of sites for these folks and will be posting them soon so you can read about them. As a client of mine for a few years now, I would describe the Regenration Project as a wonderful bunch of folks trying to save the world. I say it in that kinda hokey fashion, but I mean it. These folks may be people of faith but that faith is what powers their mission. There is no discrimination between Catholic, Protestant, Muslin, Jewish, Hindi, Sikh, you name it. The goal of their organization is to preserve the beauty of the world and to leverage the will of people of faith to help accomplish that task. I like that.
As the public face of the Regeneration Project, Interfaith power and Light is an important part of a muilti-faith effort to address the effects of global warming. As their mission page states “The mission of Interfaith Power & Light is to be faithful stewards of Creation by responding to global warming through the promotion of energy conservation, energy efficiency, and renewable energy. This campaign intends to protect the earth’s ecosystems, safeguard the health of all Creation, and ensure sufficient, sustainable energy for all.”
