A while back I posted about email obfuscation sites that can turn an email into a script or series of characters that spambots cannot harvest. This is useful in case you want to put your email address on your web site so people can contact you. I advise my clients against this – if you spend 100 on a web form instead it will save you a lot of spam down the road and your email from customers will contain what you need to turn them into a paying customer. Maybe.
Anyways I neglected to mention my favorite obfuscation page and I don’t know why so here it is, Albion Research’s email obfuscation script – it will change your email address into straight text or into javascript code if you want to use it in another script you are writing.
